A graduate of the George Washington University School of Business, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Currently, Alex is pursuing a Master of Science in Real Estate Development at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Most recently, Alex worked as a Leasing Associate at Urban Igloo, an apartment brokerage firm located in Washington, DC. Along with assisting renters through the entire search and selection process and acquiring new listings, he was also responsible for handling data analysis, market research, and new associate training. Prior to that, Alex was an Asset Manager involved in the operation of a diverse portfolio of family investment properties located in MA and Washington, DC, performing such duties as building rent rolls, cash-flow statements, and asset valuation models.
Earlier on, Alex took part in an Executive Internship program at Whelan Associates, a full service commercial real estate firm founded by the former chairman of Spaulding & Slye Colliers International. There he completed several projects while assisting division heads in property management, development, leasing, and capital markets.
In high school Alex was a 4 Letter Athlete in soccer and lacrosse, and was the Captain of both teams his senior year. At GWU, Alex helped lead the highly competitive Lacrosse Club as a Co-captain his junior and senior years.
