Homecrest is a neighborhood located in Brooklyn (part of Brooklyn Community Board 15) bordering Coney Island, Gravesend and Sheepshead Bay.
Homecrest is a primarily residential neighborhood, characterized by two- and three-story residences, as well as a number of apartment houses in certain areas. Recently approved for rezoning, the neighborhood aims to retain its existing scale and character while providing newer quality housing options for residents.
