Corona is a neighborhood located in Queens (part of Queens Community Board 4) bordering Flushing, Jackson Heights and Elmhurst.
One of Queens' oldest towns, Corona is located just west of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park -one of the largest parks in New York City and home to the Mets' Shea Stadium. This vibrant community has a long, storied history in popular culture, as home to both Louis Armstrong and Madonna and as a setting in songs by Paul Simon and books by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
